Lesson Length and Flexibility
Choose the pace that works best for your schedule and goals. Available lesson lengths: 45 minutes / 60 minutes / 90 minutes / 120 minutes
Most students choose a 60 or 90-minute lesson each week.
Students from All Backgrounds Welcome
Not all students arrive with the same goals, and that's exactly how it should be.
Some are complete beginners taking their very first lesson. Some are returning to music after many years away. Others are experienced musicians curious about a completely different musical language.
What they share is a curiosity for the guzheng and a willingness to explore something new. Over the years, I've had the privilege of teaching students from many different backgrounds, cultures and walks of life. Watching each person develop their own relationship with the instrument is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Meet Qing Du
|
Qing is a London-based guzheng artist, educator, and cross-cultural musician who has taught students from across Europe, North America, Asia, and beyond. Alongside her teaching work, Qing performs internationally and has collaborated with artists and organisations including Gorillaz, BBC Concert Orchestra, BAFTA, the World Expo, and leading cultural institutions across the UK and abroad. She also serves as an external examiner for the University of Cambridge. |

Do I Need My Own Guzheng?
