The Guzheng Studio was initiated by Qing Du who has been a professional Guzheng teacher and player to adults and children since 2006. Qing Guzheng was born to connect with like-minded people who are always passionate for the unusual and learning new things. Qing enjoys exploring the realm where eastern and western cultures, arts and music collide.

With years of solo and group performance experiences Qing has been invited to, she has developed her own unique take on performing Guzheng. She enjoys shaping her music flexibly in the moment and turning every performance into a process of reimagination and recreation. She believe skills and techniques are the means not the ends. Qing also hugely enjoys teaching her students on how to build their own performing style confidently beyond just Guzheng skills.
