Why I Created Guzheng World

Finding the right guzheng can be overwhelming, especially when living outside China and without the opportunity to try instruments in person. Over the years, I have tested and compared hundreds of guzhengs from different makers, price ranges, and sizes. Along the way, students and fellow musicians kept asking the same question:

"Which guzheng would you recommend?" 
Guzheng World was created as an answer to that question.

Rather than offering hundreds of models, it brings together a carefully selected collection of instruments chosen for their sound quality, craftsmanship, reliability, and long-term value — all from makers I personally trust and regularly recommend to students and professional musicians.

A well-made travel-size guzheng can sound remarkably impressive and, in some cases, outperform entry-level full-size instruments. While they naturally cannot match the resonance of a concert-size guzheng, they offer an excellent balance between sound quality and portability.
